It's A Magical Time of Year...

One day this month, like magic,
all of a sudden my Granfolks from California
arrived at my home! Yay!

We always have such a magical time with them :)
While I stayed home to guard the castle,
they took Mom to the Sarasota Farmers Market
where they found...
  Magic tomatoes grown with...

 Magic Pooh!

and saw some of my furiends' twins there too...

and Finn (He gave Mom loads of slobbery kisses ;)

After they bought lots of fresh fruits and veggies,
they had lunch at Sangria's Tapas Bar.
It's one of Mom's favorite restaurants.
She says it's so fun to order lots of different
dishes and all share in them :)

The next day, they took ME to one of my favorite
parks. Emerson Point Preserve...

  It was a beautiful day!

I felt a magic tingling in my paws and...
 Climbed a tree!
Here squirrely squirrelies Heh Heh Heh ;)

We rounded a corner on the trail and were
magically greeted by...

Egrets, Wood Storks and a Roseate Spoonbill! Wow!

and to top it all off we saw an ancient creature
on the beach...

A Horseshoe Crab!

On another day,
my pawrents and Granfolks went to the
Red Barn Flea Market
where they found some magical shirts...

at first they look like this.

and then when you step out into the sun...

Shazam! Like magic they get all colorized! :D

There is one other magical moment I will
tease you with today ;)
My Grandfolks treated my Mom to a very
special experience.
For part of Mom's Christmas, I'm giving her
my blog. :O
(No worries. It's just for one post ;)
And it will be AFTER Christmas :)

So here's your teaser and
the monthly jigsaw puzzle...

Play Manatee Ornament Puzzle

PeeS: A HUGE Thanks to everyone who has cobbled away and sent in their incredible ornaments for Our Blogville Christmas Tree! They are all so wonderful! I have been working diligently (along with some other elves ;) to carefully place each one on our tree. It's taking a bit longer than I'd thought (probably has something to do with all the Eggnog ;) butt they will all be up before Christmas.
I'll let you know when the curtain goes up for the final magical Scene at Pet Fiction Theater :D

If you're still cobbling on your homemade ornament
for our tree, remember you still have until the end
of the day on Saturday, the 17th to send in your photos :)
with 'Ornament' in Subject line.

Waggin at ya,
Elf Roo

I can't wait to read your mom's post. My mom LOVES manatees so she is kind of hoping it has something to do with them.

We have been total slackers about the holiday ornament, but will try to send something tonight.

    Your pal, Pip

P.S.: Please stop by my Grand Finale Couch Occupation post tomorrow. You are in it AND it is going to be a comment-a-thon for the Houston Pittie Pack family.

  10. So many magical things all together in one super-duper blog post!!

I think the magic shirt that colours itself in is my favourite. But good friends and family are always unbeatable for REAL magic.

    Love and licks, Winnie

I now have a Christmas Tree all my own. I am so excited. I put a picture on my blog so you could see how cool it is.

  14. Oh bummer - I've been missing all the deadlines. We've had a nasty chest cold running through our home and timing couldn't have been worse to keep up with all the goings on.
I LOVE this post - everything from the magical pooh fertilizer to that pawsome shirt! And you were so close to the squirrels!!

  20. hey Roo,

Love the last photo of you! It is so festive and cute! Your tree is pretty and the Nutcracker is pawsome! Your hat rocks, too! :->

What a fun time you had! Your post was so positive and cheerful. Your Granfolks sound like fun humans, and you sure had an adventurous day. I bet those squirrels were pretty nervous to see you climbing their tree! Do you think my horse jaw bone came from your very cool horseshoe crab?

Your magic tee-shirt is fun! But magic pooh? Pawsome! BOL!

  22. Wow you are an expert tree climber love the picture. Those squirrels better watch out for you. You are so lucky to live so close to the beautiful ocean and soft sandy beaches. Do you think Mom would notice if I hitched a ride to your land of fun and sunshine?

Hahaha, that's one funny crab it looks like it lost it's horse.

Way cool shirts. I got an idea....collars that do that :)

Hope you have a very Merry Christmas and get lots and lots of yummies and stuffies.

Mom and Dad is tracking Santa for us and it looks like he will be stopping by your area before coming our way. I think last we checked he's in India.
